After attending the Pre-Med program at the University of Houston, working in the medical field and then facilitating a national marketing campaign, Michelle decided to switch gears and pursue a career in education. She received her certification in Early childhood and was the Preschool Director for St. Theresa Catholic Church, Extended Care Coordinator at Cornerstone Christian Academy and Director at Creative Learning Academy. She also received a National Employee of the Year award from LearningRx among other accolades.
She is very involved in her community including volunteer work for GSUSA, Providence Swim Team, The Rainbow Room, Pack for a Purpose, FBISD, PTO and the City of Sugar Land and many church-related activities.
Michelle loves to travel, but her favorite activity is spending time with children, whether it’s educational enrichment, Hope Builder, or just playing at the park with her grandchildren.
Michelle’s motto is ‘We think that we have to make a better world for our children but the reality is we have to make better children for our world’
