• Middle School Assistant Teacher, Stage Manager for KnILE Theater Club

    Julie Wilson

I’m Julie Wilson, the Assistant Teacher for middle school and also the Stage Manager for KnILE Theater Club. I’m a mom of 4 busy kids, 2 boys and 2 girls – Brogan (10), Dylyn (14), Brock (16) and Payton (18).   My oldest daughter just graduated from high school and will be attending Texas A&M in the fall. Gig ‘Em! My husband, Kory, works in the oil industry as a Senior Subsea Engineer.   We just celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary.  My family is my everything!

I’ve been with KnILE for 2 years and I have loved every minute of it!  The staff are one of a kind and I consider them to be a part of my family. It was a true blessing that I was asked to work at KnILE.

When I’m not in the classroom helping our gifted middle schoolers and Ms. Judy, I’m helping Jenny Cubias with the Theater Club. Theater has always been a passion of mine!  My favorite teacher was my middle school drama teacher, Mrs. Barnes, who I still keep in touch with. She taught me so much and made such a huge impression on me. I want to do the same for our theater students, by letting them know they can do anything they set their minds to. We’ve had an awesome first year with our Theater Club!  I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

KnILE is such a special school. It has made such a huge difference for so many families.  We let students work at their own pace. They have a safe place to be themselves and to feel confident in the person they are becoming.  All of our students are just amazing and I feel privileged that I’m allowed to work with them daily.

Join KnILE and let it become your blessing.
