Kristin Miller

“Work hard; then you can play hard!”

My name is Kristin Miller and I am the Lead Middle School Teacher at KnILE Center. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. I began my career as a YMCA Camp Counselor and as a Youth Prevention Specialist, teaching a classroom-based curriculum in elementary schools. In addition, I’ve worked as a substitute teacher and a long-term substitute. 

My heart for girls led me to volunteer with The Butterfly Project, Inc., a 501 3c non-profit, as a mentor for teenage girls who attend high school in Lamar CISD. I currently serve as a mentor and Program Director for the organization. In addition, I enjoy scrapbooking, party planning, DIY projects and spending time with family.
