Kid’s Resort

Kid’s Resort provides after school programs and child care to school-aged kids in Richmond, TX. Their 7,000 sq. ft. facility is designed to feel less like a daycare, and more like a fun place to hang out with friends! Kids are offered homework help, snacks, activities and can even help with animals! They offer a variety of programs that encourage kids to learn, but more importantly have fun and develop their interests.

Original founders, Lindsay Asawa, Clinical Psychologist & Betsy de Vega, Educator, joined forces to bring you a psychological and educational perspective on topics affecting our children today. These series are designed to help parents and educators work with children and provide them the tools necessary to succeed in school and in life. We provide seminars every semester during the school year!

Dr. Lindsay Asawa

Dr. Asawa specializes in working with children and families to evaluate and address many of the common problems that arise in home and school settings. She has extensive experience evaluating and treating children and adolescents in private practice, university clinics, and hospital settings. Dr. Asawa has also developed and facilitated workshops and treatment groups for both parents and children. Dr. Asawa currently works at the Missouri City Family Counseling Center.

Dance Du Coeur

Dance Du Coeur in Sugar Land offers dance classes for all ages. From kids to adults, they offer a variety of classes in Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary. Modern, Acro, Leaps and Turns and aerial silk and also adult Yoga. They have recreational dance classes for kids to adults even Boys Hip Hop only classes and also Mommy and Me class classes. They also offer the Houston area’s top competitive elite level dance team called “One Beat”. Their students compete at regional and national dance competitions and conventions at the top levels. They are the proud home to several National Champion teams and soloists!
